The demon, Deliora, has been released! Can Natsu, Gray, Erza, and Lucy stop the unstoppable monster?
Deliora has been released from the Iced Shell and lets out a powerful roar. Erza, Lucy, and Happy hear the monster and they know that it must be Deliora. Erza notices that the Moon Drip is still coming through and surmises that the ceremony is not complete and she leads them to the roof in order to stop it before it's too late.
Natsu and Zaldy are in the area with Deliora and Natsu battles with Zaldy and finds out how Zaldy's magic works. Zaldy is able to manipulate the time of objects like the crystal ball he uses to attack Natsu with. Natsu destroys the ball and Zaldy uses his Time Ark magic to re-form the ball the way it was before Natsu shattered it. Natsu realizes that although Zaldy can change the time of objects, he cannot do it to living creatures. Natsu then charges up and attacks and bursts through all the ceiling debris and punches Zaldy and knocks him into a rock formation below.
Erza takes care of Toby and stops the Moon Drip ceremony but it's too late. Deliora is released. Natsu and Gray are facing Deliora when Lyon crawls in and says that he now will defeat Deliora in order to surpass his teacher, Ul. He has a flashback to when he first met Ul and then when she took in Gray as an apprentice. Back in the present, he says that he is going to defeat Deliora and Gray knocks him to the ground. Gray starts to perform Iced Shell, but Natsu gets in his way and says that he will fight Deliora. Deliora starts to punch down on Natsu and Natsu charges up his flame magic and charges at Deliora's fist. They collide and Deliora starts to crack and fall apart. It seems that Ul's Iced Shell has drained the life force out of Deliora after all these years.
Natsu, Lucy, Happy, and Gray think that the S Class mission is complete but Erza reminds them of the fact that the people of the village are still demons and that the mission is not complete yet. Lyon tells them that he and his cohorts have been on the island for three years and the Moon Drip has not affected them in any way and he thinks that the villagers are hiding something. As they leave to go to the village, Gray tells Lyon that he should join a guild in order to find a new purpose in life. Lyon scoffs at the notion but Gray thinks that Lyon will take his advice and join a guild.
They go to the camp and find that the villagers are not there and one of the villagers runs up and tells them to follow him. They arrive to find that the village is miraculously back to normal. Erza asks the villagers why they did not investigate the ruins and the villagers tell her that whenever they tried, they always wound up back at the village. They never could get near the ruins. Erza says that she knows what is wrong and tells Natsu to come with her and they are going to destroy the moon.
