Erza has arrived on Galuna Island and her only reason to be there is to return everyone to Fairy Tail for punishment, but Gray refuses to leave and is determined to finish his fight with Lyon. Will Erza allow this or is Gray in for a fight with her?
Lucy has just forced a Celestial Gate closed with Taurus and now she calls Plue to the scene and Sherry takes control of him, but since he is a weak spirit, he can't do anything to Lucy and Lucy uses her whip to attack Sherry. Sherry releases Plue from her Doll Control Magic and then creates a rock monster and chases Lucy. She chases Lucy to a cliff and Lucy is trying to think of a way to defeat the rock monster. Part of the cliff gives way and Lucy falls to the beach by the sea and Sherry and the rock monster jump down as well to finish Lucy off. Lucy gets an idea and calls forth Aquarius. Sherry takes over Aquarius and tells Aquarius to destroy Lucy. Aquarius winds up sweeping up Lucy and Sherry in a giant wave and they both crash back onto the beach. Sherry tries to regain control of her rock monster, but since she is so dizzy, she cannot regain control. Lucy clotheslines Sherry and knocks her out but Sherry is able to call Angelica, the giant rat, before she passes out. Lucy can't move and Angelica pounces but suddenly she is struck and falls to the side. It's Erza and she is not happy. Erza tells Lucy that she is here to bring them back for punishment and doesn't care what is going on at the island. Happy shows up at this time and Erza captures him too.
Gray comes to and finds himself in a tent. He goes outside and learns from the villagers that the village was destroyed and everyone was saved thanks to Natsu and Lucy. She points to the large tent in the center of the camp and says that Natsu and Lucy are waiting for him. He goes in the tent and comes face to face with an angry Erza. She tells him that she is disappointed in him for not stopping them and says that she is taking them all back once they find Natsu. Gray refuses and she draws her sword and points it at him. He tells her to cut him down if she must, but he must finish what he started here. He leaves and Erza frees Lucy and Happy and says that they will finish the mission but everyone will be punished when they return.
Natsu has gone to the temple and knocks out half of the support structures and causes the temple to tilt and now the moon cannot get to Deliora. This interrupts a meeting going on between Lyon, Zalty, and Toby. They discover Natsu and he attacks Lyon. Zalty causes the floor to give way under Natsu and saves Lyon from getting hit with Natsu's flames. This angers Lyon and he tells them to leave and that he will defeat Natsu himself. Lyon and Natsu face off and Natsu is determined to stop Lyon from hurting anyone else.
Erza, Lucy, Gray, and Happy are on the way to the temple and Gray fills them in on the past and tells them that Lyon's reason for releasing Deliora is to defeat it so he can surpass their former teacher, Ul, who sealed away the demon in ice at the expense of her own life. However, Gray says that Ul is not dead.
